Beyond the Tank: Mo’s Bows

On the January 21st episode of Beyond the Tank, viewers got a chance to catch up with Moziah “Mo” Bridges, the 13-year-old CEO of Mo’s Bows.  Initially appearing on Season 5 of Shark Tank, Mo was advised by Daymond John not give up any equity of his business and instead took Daymond’s offer of being mentored by him.

On this special episode of Beyond the Tank, Mo took viewers along to a meeting with Daymond at FUBU Headquarters in New York City.  With a vision of expanding his product line, Mo decided this was the perfect opportunity to get some advice on taking his business to the next level.

After the meeting, Daymond was excited to take Mo back to where it all began for FUBU, Hollis, Queens.  He wanted to share with Mo the importance of understanding and appreciating where you came from in order to figure out where you want your future to take you.  Most importantly, though, Daymond wanted to share his own experiences and instill in Mo the importance of making good decisions in both business and life.

This past October, Moziah was named one of TIME Magazine “30 Most Influential Teens of 2015”.  In January, he was also the youngest recipient of the NRF Foundation’s 2016 Dreamers Award.  The Dreamers are young entrepreneurs who, despite their age or level of experience, have made big noise in their industry or field.  They let their passion and heart drive them to success.
