On the April 5th episode of Beyond the Tank, viewers got to catch up with TurboPup, the “Complete K9 Meal Bar” company. TurboPup was first seen on Season 6 of Shark Tank where Founder & CEO, Kristina Guerrero, was able to make a deal with The Shark Daymond John. Kristina attributes her ability to kick start her own company to her experiences in The Air Force Academy and as a decorated US Air Force Veteran. It was the teamwork and leadership skills she learned along the way that gave her the confidence and ability to be the entrepreneur that she is today.
This Beyond The Tank episode gave viewers the chance to see Kristina’s recent trip to New York for a check-in meeting with Daymond and to discuss potential opportunities for growth. Since TurboPup first aired on Shark Tank, Kristina has continued to handle everything from production and manufacturing, to fulfillment and sales. Daymond and his team used their resources to get TurboPup a meeting with the innovative pet product company, Fetch…For Pets!, to discuss potential licensing deals. Fetch was interested in handling all of TurboPup’s manufacturing and distribution.
Fetch was able to do a soft launch of TurboPup bars at the world’s largest pet convention, Global Pet Expo in Orlando, Florida. After gaining popularity and attention from major pet retailers, TurboPup was able to sign a full licensing deal with Fetch…For Pets!.
